Hiking #2 The Lookout

We saw this off in the distance and decided to take a detour and hike to it...I'm glad we did.

The lookout has the cutest "doorbell" (a cast-iron skillet and pipe) and gate.
You can't see the lookout from the path, but it has some amazing steps leading up too it.
I didn't get a picture of the front because I'm not foolish enough to climb out on the tiny ledge to take one.
The guy that lives there six days a week is named David and he invited us in.

It was pretty cool.
