I'm worn out from running, counting calories, and weight training...even though the weight training is new. On Monday I start a 14 week training program for a 1/2 marathon but I'm burnt out.
I've decided to skip today's scheduled workout and eating plan...in fact I'm taking the rest of the week off. This doesn't mean I'll toss everything aside and eat with abandon...well maybe it does a little...but I still have a 5K race on Saturday and I would really like to place in my age group so I'll have to be properly fueled...that means good clean food even if I want to eat ice cream 10 times a day.:o)
I'm not going to exercise for the rest of the week except for the 5K and hopefully when Monday rolls around I'll have a new outlook on counting calories, nutrients, and running.
I'm looking forward to doing another 1/2 marathon and since I'm not such a newbie to running I might actually enjoy it this time. :o) This (<--click) is the one I'm planning on running. It looks fun and the finisher medal rocks!
