Date and Walnut Stuffed Pears

Tonight's Dessert

5 Small Bosc Pears

½ cup water

½ cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon butter

1 Teaspoon cinnamon

Filling

1/3 cup chopped dates

2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Halve and core pears. Combine ingredients for filling and fill centers. Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boil and pour over pears. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender; baste frequently with syrup.
